Trend? We'll see.

A day late but 20,000 words extra taking me to 57,000. I'll admit half were rewrites as opposed to new material but I'm not going to undersell my effort here. Seven AM to eleven PM with an hour and half break two days running is  a lot of writing, end of.

I forgot about updating the blog I'm going to put that down to tiredness. I went straight to sleep and I slept well which has not been the norm for me of late. Hopefully these days mark the beginning of a trend and not an unusual anomaly in my otherwise average productivity.

We'll see what tomorrow brings, hopefully I'll remember to post something.

A few thousand words....

So I'm 37,000 words into my rewrite and a lot of things have come up to distract me this week but I'm dealing with everything I need to and moving forward. Today wasn't quite as productive as I wanted it to be but otherwise I feel like I'm moving in the right direction.

Starside Collection One is complex, moreso than I thought it was going to be. Hopefully it's understandable and worthwhile from science fiction, character, drama and action points of view. Until I finish the first collection of short stories I guess you won't know.

Tomorrow is a whole new day and it's going to have to begin in eight hours and twelve minutes. Both hands to the keyboard and see if I can't grind out a few thousand words over sixteen hours, you'll get that update tomorrow.
